One-day educational programme with Planeteen
The superhero Planeteen is our ambassador for educational programs in which he and his team at PRAKTIK strive for a healthier planet Earth for all of us.
This educational recycling programme focusing on e-waste recycling is designed for primary school pupils in the first grade.
Discover the world of recycling in a fun way!
Our Planeteen has a challenge for you: "Bring in a non-functioning electrical appliance and I'll show you that it doesn't belong in the bin."
Planeteen will take you to the plant, you will see everything with your own eyes and you will not only watch, you will also have the opportunity to become a superhero, to try being part of his team.
Information about the programme:
- The educational programme is designed for the 1st grade of primary school.
- Group size: 20 - 30 people.
- Duration: approx. 3 hours.
- Venue: Pod Vinicí 81, Stráž pod Ralskem.
How do you join us?
It's easy, just email the teacher/mentor at edu@praktiksystem.cz or fill in a simple form, to tell us more about you. Our colleague Daniela will then get in touch with them to arrange a time for you to join us.
For those who are curious, I will outline what awaits them here:
Bring a non-functioning electrical appliance with you, it's up to you what it is. I'll show you how to turn a useless old thing into new material. You won't just watch, you'll become a member of my team yourself.
- We'll talk about how to recycle properly, why it's important.
- You'll see that a discarded fridge doesn't end up in a landfill, but with us at Praktik.
- I'll show you what superpowers I have, how I can get materials from the fridge to make new things.
- You'll get a look inside the factory and our labs.
- You'll become a superhero yourself and try my work.
- You'll play a quiz to win exciting prizes.
- Like a true superhero, I have a surprise gift for your class.
Everything is done in a playful and fun way that shows children the world of recycling. The natural mascot Planeteen guides children through the whole recycling process. They will learn something new and have fun at the same time. Sign your class or school up for our completely free programme. We look forward to it.
